As we drove through Hubbards we discovered an active CBC filming set for the Moonshine TV series. 🎥 After getting permission from the producer and provided a mask, I was able to get a couple quick, distant shots of the busy set. North Shore Tour – Part 5

We went to Denmark! No, not in Europe here in Nova Scotia. While there we visited the famous Pork Shop. Then we headed down the road to River John, Nova Scotia for another quick visit, continuing this segment of the North Shore Tour 2022. While filming in River John someone suggested we head over to a beach to get some shots, so we did. This area is just so beautiful, making for stunning aerial shots. This media concept came after 8+ years of taking weekly requests to film local events. The online channel provides a place to publish these event segments, TV shows and much more, while corporate sponsors and public donations cover the production costs with “Community Supportive Advertising” **

We combine professional video production, publishing and promotion all in one maximizing sponsorship dollars with branded SEO and Social Media Marketing.

We hope our productions provide a valued community service and media outlet.

“Community television is a form of mass media in which a television station is owned, operated or programmed by a community group to provide television programs of local interest known as local programming.”. Community television stations are most commonly operated by non-profit groups or cooperatives. However, in some cases they may be operated by a local college or university, a cable company or a municipal government.”

Our self imposed mandate is to create a non-profit group which will provide “Free to view” highly accessible community based productions, something not currently available in the province. #nstourism

Creating promotional TV style content that features the wonderful people and places that our great province is famous for is in essence what you have been requesting all these years, but we don’t stop there. All our productions are published to a world wide audience and are available for sharing anywhere. With eight shows currently in development we intend to feature local musicians to wineries, bringing you the people and places that are sometimes overlooked or featured where access is limited. Help us feature your community by volunteering to be an NSLive.tv community correspondent. It’s easy, just send us a two minute video on any upcoming events of interest in your area and we will feature it on the Event Update LIVE show.

Like any TV channel there are many production and operational costs involved and we have to rely on funding from event organizers, public donations, corporate sponsorships, crowd funding and investors to make this all happen.

Your support brings you a long lasting online advertisement that can be shared anywhere online through your existing website, social media and emails. Not to mention published to our “Netflix” style website and popular social media pages.

We hope you will view, watch share and tell others that there is now an outlet for Nova Scotians to share their interests and talents, while creating production jobs to help keep our youth in the province.
