THE NEW SERVER IS SETUP WITH WHATS CALLED REDUNDANCY, AND IF THERE IS A FAILURE IN THE FUTURE IT WILL BE ABLE TO AUTOMATICALLY MOVE FILES TO ANOTHER DRIVE. THIS SERVER HAS BEEN GOING STRONG FOR 5 YEARS NOW, BUT TODAY IT DECIDED TO DIE ON US ☹

THE GOOD NEWS IS BECAUSE IT ONLY HOLDS THE MOST POPULAR 300 SERIES, AND 500 MOVIES, THE TRANSFER WILL BE VERY QUICK! WE ARE PRIORITIZING THE TRANSFER BY TOP IMDB SHOWS AND MOVIES AS WELL.

If you receive an error using the VIP APP "Account Expired" (and your account is currently active) do not panic! This happens when the main server restarts (usually takes 5-15 minutes to complete a restart). Please check the Chilltv group and Chilltv Unofficial Group group for updates and wait 15 minutes. If you are still having the same issue after doing the steps above contact support directly.

We completed an update this morning from 4:30-5 am Est. During this time several servers restarted and caused some small downtime.

We also have some VOD servers doing some quick updates this morning as well that could effect some series / movies (this shouldn't take long and we are doing this maintenance in the early morning hours when most users aren't on).

Please read below!!!

Chilltv is 100% operational right now. If you are having buffering issues, and others aren't (watching the same programs it means something is wrong on your end).

Also make sure you are not over your connections. Your current connection limit. If you are logged into more connections then your account is allowed it will cause buffering!

If your ChillTV is not working you need to do the following
:

1. Unplug your device for 1 minute.
2. Unplug your router or modem.
3. Restart the application and do a full refresh.

Our service is working, all servers are online and streams connected. If yiu are getting a playback error it's most likely because you are "cached" from previously. The steps above should correct this.

If you have tried steps 1, 2, and 3 and still having issues message us directly on chat.

If you have been experiencing buffering issues the past 24 hours please restart your device (unplug it for 60 seconds and plug it back in).

We have seen some routing issues with Bell and Eastlink customers the past few days where their connections are dropping from our servers. We've put some new updates in place the past hour which should solve these issues.

If you continue to have buffering issues, and have a normal speed test (30mb download and above), please write our support directly through FB messenger or Live Chat.

Update everything working for good!

Sorry everyone we had yet another auto restart on the server. Again this was nothing to do with previous issues just alot of patch updates.

I am told from our data center this will not be happening again anytime soon and our servers all all up to date!!!

Update

ChillTV has been experiencing ongoing issues with its main data center in Los Angela's. This is effecting thousands of other servers and services. It's something completely out of our control.

We are putting in a full backup as we speak to fix all channels, however a portion of VOD will be down until LA data center is fixed (today).

We are very sorry about the inconvenience thus has caused and would like to thank you for your patience.

We will be adding 1 month of free service to all customers as well.

Update

Over the next 2 days we will be swapping series from several servers onto new servers. The reason is to open up additional bandwidth (faster speeds), and more storage (so we can add more series and movies).

The only way we can do this without effecting the current series is to add the new ones in as duplicates, and then delete the old ones when finished (this will assure no downtime with series). Because of this you will notice duplicate episodes within the series until the migration is completed.

We will keep posting updates on our progress, and when completed. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
