Overhead Squat Stability
➡️ Overhead stability requires a variety of musculature, joints, and tendons to be strong. This includes the rotator cuff, thoracic spine, and scapula. These exercises will help you build strength and get all these components working together.
🔥ER at 90: Keeping your shoulders square and even, rotate the back of your hand to the wall behind you.
🔥Banded Wall Walk: While keeping tension on the band walk your hands up the wall. Keep your shoulders relaxed and strongly plant your hands on the wall
🔥Standing DB Shoulder Press: Using dumbbells requires one to also work on their coordination, 2 in 1 exercise! Making sure to not dump the weight into your low back by engaging your core, press the weight up over head and then catch at 90 degrees on the way down.
🔥Overhead Carry: Finding a strong core position to start and allowing the shoulder joint to sit in its socket find a controlled walk while keeping the weight overhead.
