While being sensitive to the preferences of our children of this time, we have tried to recreate our own stories – so that they know Pantaburi and Dalimkumaar equally well as they know Cinderella and Rapunzel. Culture is our root: a root that cannot be severed without also killing the plant. In constantly trying to live in a competitive world, our children slowly are becoming severed from their roots. We are losing our fairy-tales, our culture, our heritage in the grim shadows of English medium tales. But we do not intend to allege anyone or anything. All we want to do is to commence the journey of Golpo with a sense of responsibility and accountability for our future generations. And if adults want to re-live their childhood once more, then we very much welcome them as well: in the realm of Golpo.
নিজেদের গল্পগুলোকে এখনকার বাচ্চাদের পছন্দের কথা মাথায় রেখে তৈরি করছি আমরা... যেন সিনড্রেলা-রাপুন্জেল এর সাথে পান্তাবুড়ি-ডালিমকুমারকেও চেনে ওরা...
সংস্কৃতি আমাদের শিকড়ের মতো, শিকড় কেটে দিলে গাছ মরে যায়... প্রতিযোগিতার এই বিশ্বের সাথে তাল মেলাতে গিয়ে, আমাদের বাচ্চারা ধীরে ধীরে শিকড়হীন হয়ে যাচ্ছে... ইংলিশ মিডিয়াম-ফেইরি টেলস্ এর চাপে হারিয়ে যাচ্ছে আমাদের রূপকথা-সংস্কৃতি-ঐতিহ্য... কাউকে দোষ দিতে নয়, পরের প্রজন্মের প্রতি দায়িত্ব এবং দায়বদ্ধতা থেকেই “গল্প” এর পথচলা শুরু হলো... আর বড়রা যদি কিছুক্ষণ হারিয়ে যেতে চান শৈশবে, তবে স্বাগতম “গল্প” এর ভুবনে ❤️
