This Advice message is being issued for Altona, Altona Meadows, Altona North, Brooklyn, Laverton North, Seaholme, Williamstown, Williamstown North, Altona Gate, Laverton, Altona East, Seabrook, Newport, South Kingsville, Tottenham, Point Cook, Sunshine West.

There is a fire at a waste management facility in Old Geelong Road, Brooklyn.
Smoke will be visible from nearby roads and communities.
The wind is currently blowing the smoke in a southerly direction from the fire, towards Altona North and surrounding suburbs.
There is currently no threat to the community, but you should continue to stay informed and monitor conditions.
What you should do:
You should avoid the area.
Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
If you are sensitive to smoke or you live with someone who is sensitive to smoke you should close windows and doors. Turn off heating and cooling systems.
Impacts in your area:
The following road is closed: Old Geelong Road and roads around the site.
Emergency Services will remain in the area.
Traffic in the area will be affected.

कोरोना महामारी और लॉकडाउन के बीच किए गए नेक कामों के चलते सोनू सूद की छवि मसीहा की बन चुकी है। तेलंगाना राज्य के गांव डुब्बा टांडा के लोगों ने 47 साल के सोनू के नाम पर एक मंदिर बनवाकर उन्हें सम्मानित किया है। रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो गांव वालों ने इस मंदिर का निर्माण सिद्दीपेट जिला अधिकारियों की मदद से करवाया है।

मंदिर का लोकार्पण रविवार को मूर्तिकार और स्थानीय लोगों की मौजूदगी में किया गया। इस दौरान एक आरती भी की गई। पारंपरिक पोशाक पहने स्थानीय महिलाओं ने लोकगीत गाए। जिला परिषद के सदस्य गिरी कोंडेल ने अपने एक बयान में कहा कि सोनू कोरोना महामारी के बीच जनता के लिए अच्छे काम कर रहे हैं।

लॉकडाउन के दौरान सोनू सूद ने मुंबई में फंसे प्रवासी मजदूरों को देश के दूर-दराज इलाकों में स्थित उनके घर तक पहुंचाने में मदद की थी। उन्होंने और उनकी टीम ने मजदूरों के लिए टोल फ्री नंबर और वॉट्सऐप नंबर जारी किए थे। सोनू ने मजदूरों के लिए बस, ट्रेन और चार्टर्ड फ्लाइट का इंतजाम भी कराया था। साथ ही फंसे हुए लोगों के खाने-पीने का इंतजाम भी किया था।

किसान आंदोलन और सरकार की प्रतिक्रिया से दुखी होने के बाद बाबा राम सिंह की आत्महत्या का मामला अभी थमा ही नहीं है कि एक और किसान ने आत्महत्या कर ली है. किसान आंदोलन में 20 दिन तक भाग लेने के बाद घर लौटे नौजवान किसान गुर लाभ सिंह ने सल्फास की गोली खाकर आत्महत्या कर ली है.
गुरलाभ के पास ज़मीन कम थी ओर जो फसल पैदा होती थी उसका असल दाम नही मिलता था वह इसी बात से आहत था
आंदोलन में बढ़चढ़ कर हिस्सा लेने वाले इस युवक ने आहत होकर मौत को हाउ लगा लिया

: Stay at home orders will be put in place for residents in Sydney’s Northern Beaches from 5pm today until midnight on Wednesday. 23 new cases have been recorded, including 10 that were announced yesterday.

From 11.59 tonight, 18 December, a permit system will be in place for all people travelling from New South Wales into Victoria.

Anyone who has been to hot spot (red zone) locations will not be permitted to travel into Victoria. More information about NSW Health's exposure sites ⤵️

🔴 Anyone arriving from the Northern Beaches and other NSW exposure sites (red zone) will not be permitted to enter. Passengers arriving from a red zone will be transferred to Hotel Quarantine where they will be required to remain for 14 days.

🟠 Anyone from NSW travelling from Greater Sydney (orange zone) is encouraged to get tested on arrival and self-quarantine until they receive a negative result.

🟢 Those travelling from regional NSW (green zone) will be asked to monitor for symptoms.

किसान आंदोलन के समर्थन में संत बाबा रामसिंह ने गोली मारकर खुदकुशी कर ली संत बाबा राम सिंह का सुसाइड नोट भी सामने आया. उन्होंने सुसाइड नोट में लिखा है कि किसानों का दुख देखा. वो अपना हक लेने के लिए सड़कों पर हैं. बहुत दिल दुखा है. सरकार न्याय नहीं दे रही. जुल्म है. जुल्म करना पाप है, जुल्म सहना भी पाप है. संत बाबा राम सिंह आगे लिखते हैं कि किसी ने किसानों के हक में और जुल्म के खिलाफ कुछ नहीं किया. कइयों ने सम्मान वापस किए. यह जुल्म के खिलाफ आवाज है. वाहेगुरु जी का खालसा, वाहेगुरु जी की फतेह.

- There is a grassfire at Troups Rd, Mount Cottrell that is not yet under control.
- The grassfire has crossed Middle Road, and travelling in a south westerly direction towards Downing Street.
- Firefighters have been unable to stop the fire and is moving towards Chartwell Estate and Downing Street.

Middle Road and Chartwell Estate could be impacted anytime within the next hour. Leaving now is the safest option, before conditions become too dangerous.

ATTENTION residents in the Epping area: Epping Police are trying to reunite an elderly woman with her family after she was located on Northumberland Drive in Epping just before 2.30pm. She is believed to be aged in her 80-90s with a small build, blue eyes and shoulder length grey hair. She only speaks Macedonian so one of our bilingual police officers has attempted to communicate with her but all they could find out was that her first name may possibly be Bianca.

Two international travellers are now in mandatory quarantine in Victoria, after arriving in Sydney today and boarding a domestic flight to Melbourne without quarantining in NSW.

A comprehensive public health response is underway, including testing and full contact tracing.

Anyone who has been at the Melbourne Airport Terminal 3 on Saturday afternoon is advised to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms and to seek testing if symptoms develop.

Melbourne airport is not a current risk to the public – you may continue to visit the airport, in line with current restrictions.
