⌚ Time management!

My daughter starts high school next week (no I am not ready 😥) and we have been trying our best to prepare her for the increase in workload that will come with this.

She come to me the other day with her after school time breakdown to which I was happy she was thinking about after our initial conversation... BUT! let's just say that even though social media platforms are very useful for information sharing, the video or two that she did watch were unrealistic in practice.

Now, I'm far better at putting my time on paper and continually rescheduling/updating, but we sat down together and worked through how to plan our week and to set realistic targets and how to celebrate those little wins/achievements.

My bucket is most definitely full ❤

2023 Digital Marketing trends I’m keen to follow!

AI and tech look to be the biggest mover and shaker in digital marketing for 2023, and it’s definitely not an area I’m across, but it is something that I really should invest some time in to.

However….content marketing will remain king for the year as it is such an integral part of marketing in general.

Looking back over the past years consumers are watching more video (avg of 6h 48m in 2019 alone) and with the rise of short videos ( and ) marketing teams are using trending videos to promote their products etc. after all, tiktok has a WHOPPING 656million users worldwide.

But, like every year in the digital space, there is a new trend just around the corner 🫣

Life has happened again, but January has already opened a few new doors which is exciting!

Social media has always been a strong interest area of mine as it is quite powerful when used correctly, but I've never really used it correctly (except for work) so I thought it is time to be a little more active in January.

So, to start off 2023, here are 5️⃣ facts about me!

🏉 I am a bit of a fantasy football (AFL) nerd. I haven't missed a year since high school!

🏦 Growing up I wanted to be a Chef or Architect.

🤠 I would love to own a little hobby farm and document the process

🐍 I am scared of snakes, but they are one of my favourite animals (makes it hard going to the in-laws as my wifes father is a breeder/owner 😲)

🔉 No matter the device, the sound has to be a multiple of five NO exceptions!

2022 - A Reintroduction!

Hello to those new and old. I thought that it would be a great time to say HEY again and chew the fat a little. So, about me!

I'm a father of two, husband to one, and keeper of the treats for our four legged family member!

I absolutely love AFL Football! I coach under 10's and follow the Crows and Glenelg Footy Clubs!

I absolutely love telling stories through content creation. Those who know me know I'm always up for a good yarn 👌

I'm always down for a good coffee or beer!

One of my favourite places in the whole of South Australia is Horeshoe Bay in Port Elliot. BIG fan of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

I grew up in Goolwa, but now call the city home!

I'm petrified of 🐍 's, but they intrigue me (I don't get it either)

What a crazy ride we've been on this past couple of years, but we are all here and ready to keep on moving forward as that is the only thing we can control 🤘
