The Sustainable City Dubai Launches Delivery Robots in collaboration with & Lyve Global

The Sustainable City – Dubai, the first fully sustainable community in the region, has announced the launch of a delivery robot pilot in collaboration with Dubai Future Labs and Lyve Global. Starting this month, three autonomous on-demand delivery robots, developed by Dubai Future Labs, will begin their trial within The Sustainable City community. These robots will provide autonomous delivery services from all restaurants and shops within the plaza area to residents, utilizing a smart interface powered by Lyve Global.

The unique design of The Sustainable City, which is fully pedestrianized and car-free within the residential clusters, makes the community future-ready to smoothly adopt autonomous solutions. The pilot of the last-mile delivery robots uses cutting-edge robotic technologies to enhance safety, cleanliness, and cost-efficiency while reducing traffic, carbon emissions, and waiting times.

Government Experience Exchange Office Launches Report on Leading Transformational Change in Government Administration

The Government Experience Exchange Programme (GEEP) of the UAE Government launched an achievement report as part of the UAE’s delegation participation at the UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2024.

Titled “Partnerships in the Race to Excellence: Leading Transformational Change in Government Administration”, the report highlights 35 bilateral partnerships formed by the UAE in government modernisation and collaboration since the establishment of the Government Experience Exchange Programme in 2018. This is a practical embodiment of SDG17 - Partnerships for Goals.

This pioneering programme, a partnership between the UAE government and the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) at the League of Arab States, aims to prepare 42 young Arab leaders. ADGM's Financial Regulator fines Digital Wealth (Capital) Limited USD 122,500 for making an Offer of Securities in ADGM without Approved Prospectus

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) has imposed a financial penalty of USD 122,500 (AED 449,881) on Sarwa Digital Wealth (Capital) Limited (Sarwa), an FSRA licensed firm in ADGM.

The FSRA found that Sarwa contravened FSRA administered regulations by making an Offer of Securities in ADGM without an Approved Prospectus.The FSRA has also imposed a Requirement on Sarwa to undertake an independent review of its governance arrangements.

The FSRA administered regulations prohibit the making of an Offer of Securities in ADGM without a prospectus, approved by the FSRA, that contains all information that an investor would reasonably require to make an informed decision in relation to the investment.

An FSRA Investigation found that Sarwa, in and around April and May 2023 offered an opportunity to invest in securities related to a number of shares of its parent entity to its network of clients and registered users of its application.....
