The Hwange Constituency Elections Officer has declared Molokele Daniel of CCC as the winner of the National Assembly Hwange Central Constituency seat with 9167 votes .He defeated Reeds Dube of Zanu PF who had 5 157 votes; Ndlovu Cosmas an Independent who had 646 votes; Chinene Brian another Independent who received 225 votes; Nkomazana Salani of MDC T who got 102 votes and Nyathi Harriet of FreeZim Congress Party who garnered 74 votes.

Madamombe Ward 2 presiding officer Chokuda Nyika said before the polling station had officially opened at 7am there were 44 women and 42 men who were already waiting to exercise their democratic right at Madangombe Secondary School Chivi North Constituency and by 2pm 320 women had cast their votes while 238 men had also cast their votes. Fifty-two were assisted while eight were turned away.
Chivi North Constituency Elections Officer, Allowed Chomuyeke, said the situation in the Constituency was calm and busy in the morning.
He encouraged people to come out and vote as the sun is about to set.
