Hi everyone,
It's the Hamba Kahle song I recorded and produced for Mandela's memorial celebrations in 2013.
I know may of you have been asking me or searching for these recordings.
Unfortunately, I was not able to release this EP until now... but ... finally - it's out - available on all streaming and download services.
(Re-mastered and available in Dolby Atmos® spacial audio on Apple Music, Amazon Music and Tidal)
During this time, when South Africa and it's rainbow nation needs inclusion and positivity most , I hope this music helps create unity and strength...what Madiba strove for.
I licensed these versions of the recordings for the official SABC memorial promos and broadcasts for Madiba's celebrations in 2013, along with supplying them for his Childline charity work.

Alun Richards is one of South Africa’s most awarded film composers, garnering an impressive array of accolades from highly respectable international awards ceremonies, including multiple Cannes Grand Prix, Loerie Awards, LIAA, Clio, DnAD, SAFTA, Hollywood Music Workshop etc. Madhaus Media was formed in 2017 in a merger between Cut & Paste Generation’s audio post division & Sonovision studios, two of South Africa’s leading sound post production facilities. Madhaus Media offers state of the art officially accredited Dolby Digital, Atmos and broadcast final mix studios and class leading ADR and music recording stages, freeing up Cut & Paste Generation / Alun Richards to focus on it’s core business of music composition and production. On projects where Cut & Paste Generation and Madhaus handle both music and audio post, a unique synergy is formed between the creative and technical aspects of the sound track production.
