The broadcast went out live on MNET’s Channel 320 “Channel O”…but what made this even more spectacular than Black Coffee’s world class performance was the actual broadcast location…we beamed directly to satellite from an entrance to the caves at the Cradle of Human Kind…

The main event took place on the 8th floor of arguably Sandton's most prestigious building.
The backdrop to our two EXCO members was the iconic Sandton landscape, whilst the remaining members joined us virtually.
The pressure executives have to perform under on a normal day is high, throw in a full television broadcast and things start redlining, these EXECS however never faulted!

Our client, JLP Television, set a high standard for the 2020 Old Mutual Awards live internet broadcast.
The Malapati Ninjas rose to the occasion and with the support of a tight team of professionals, made this year’s winter awards a cut above the rest.
From multiple presenter green screen keying, virtual conference integration to straight forward telephone calls, Mark from JLP, directed the production into the success pages.

DAC Conference and Awards 2020 – June 2020

The DAC awards were exciting and pioneering, especially considering it all took place during the initial stages of lockdown.
The medical actuarial conference and awards function involved an international host and 18 actuarial teams.
Each team consisted of between 3-5 members who simultaneously, through virtual set integration, appeared live on screen with seamless presentation switch overs.
An awards evening and entertainment night complimented the conference with guest speakers.
What made a conference like DAC unique and challenging was that all the participants engaged live via virtual conferencing platforms. (Zoom or MS Teams etc)
Please note, this was NOT pre-recorded and played out live, it all happened LIVE, everything from video’s, music, sound FX, and transition GFX.
This places the creative and technical production hub under immense pressure (due to the participants limited connectivity speeds and technical skills) yet, we most definitely delivered a flawless and production rich experience.

Leading Financial Services Industry Day 2020 – May 2020

When a highly motivated team of professionals work together, the result is always outstanding.
And once again Malapati Productions proved this to be true during the Lockdown stages 5&4 of Covid-19.
360° Production House approached Malapati Productions to provide a creative and technical virtual conference solution which needed to replace their clients annual conference which caters to thousands of employees nationwide.

This company is a South African leader in the field of medical/ insurance and recently banking….

Health and safety was at an all-time high throughout the production.

All the bells and whistles were included to assist the group CEO’s during the filming of their ‘live to tape’ presentations.
We had one opportunity to capture each of the CEO’s including all their relevant media, but with 360° in control, we eased right through it.
The 2h20 min action packed event was then packaged and broadcast-streamed 12 hours later.
