Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump evaded an assassination attempt. Trump was addressing supporters at a rally yesterday when the gunman opened fire on him. As shots rang out, Trump grabbed his right ear with right hand before dropping to his knees behind the podium allowing Secret Service agents to rush to his cover. Video footage of the incident shows blood splattered across Trump’s cheek and ear. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) says it has “tentatively identified” the shooter. Special Agent Kevin Rojek says the shooter's identity will not be released and that the agency has no reason to believe there is any other existing threat out there.
