Another preview of unreleased material. This was another song where the artists, @overdosedone, had written the lyrics and needed an instrumental handcrafted to fit the vibe. It was a fun back and forth over the course of a few hours but we ultimately decided to go with something clean and simple as to not distract too much from lyrical content.
I was also really hype at the time to try out the new strings I got for free from @spitfireaudio and the drum machine I just bought from @xlnaudio Between Labs, XO, and Addictive Keys, this instrumental came together quickly without the need to waste any time fiddling with a ton of settings mid session.

This song came together in parts, I produced the instrumental as a practice track to test out layering pianos and synth textures. I can’t wait to share the full song with you all. It’s been in the making for so long, it feels like ages.
I love recording and mixing these types of R&B vibes. It’s when I’m at my happiest. This particular track was a demo track we recorded for an artist who was in town for a little while and needed to get his ideas down before he hit the road again.
