My pal Davy Vain and his band have released a new album and video. Great rock from San Francisco! Those guys are killing it and keeping sleezey metal alive. I shut down the new GnR song halfway through the first time I listened to it, but this has been an earworm for months (I got a sneak preview).

), Lauren Murphy (solo, Landsdale Station), David Phillips (Mr. Bungle, Tom Waits), Mookie Segal (David Nelson Band), Henry Salvia (Jim Campilongo, Johnny Colla), Pete Sears (Starship, Moonalice, every thing else) and last and not ever least Mr. David Lindley (El Rayo X, Jackson Browne and again, everyone else).

That list was off the top of my head in no particular order, these two albums were ultra fun times. I'm especially grateful to Deb and Nic for being patient with my schedule.
