HUGE NEWS! We are days away from the official book release of “Coming Out Together - Memoirs on the LGBTQ+ Experience.” I wanted to take a moment and share an excerpt I wrote for the book, titled “Coming Out is a Personal Journey.”
It was important to me to include this within the book as it speaks to those who may not be ready to make the very personal choice to come out (and may feel by reading the stories within this book that somehow that makes them less brave, which it doesn’t) and reassure them that that’s okay too- only you can know within yourself when the time is right, and there is absolutely no shame in not being ready.
I am overwhelmed and grateful for all the support and love I’ve been given around this project and book. It took, like with so many things in life, a village to bring the idea for it into a reality. Thank you 🏳️🌈💓🙏
