A Bit Exhausted

It's taken
Thirty cycles
Of the moon
For me
To
Fall out of
Tune
With the consistent
Orchestra
Playing persistent
Percussion
In my head.

And although
These types
Of days
Tend to walk
Me down the
Path of the inspired,
Truthfully
In this moment,
I'm too tired!

Finding Triggers In The Past

It takes time,

To temper attitudes

That seem

At odds

With your Aspired walk!

 

Prior to this Mock Trial,

There were only transcendent talks

About your internal growth,

While mentally tallying every inch

On a board

Made for chalk!

 

Then a person

Of the past,

Pokes the bear

And all that Soap-Boxing

About maturity

Now easily provokes!

 

Just because a situation’s

Far from sight,

Doesn’t mean your mind’s gotten

Over its bite!

 

Achieving a true

Travelers pass

Down the path of

Forward progression

Requires a shift in Perspective!

Like going from reactive

To

Proactive!

Proactively searching

For your triggers

Then purposely

Playing Offensive

Above the rim,

When in the past

You only knew defense

And tongue-lashing talks of Spin.

In my space,

About the one
Providing the box
Than the judged
In the box.
