This week, we continue a mother & daughter’s stories of teenage pregnancy & adoption. Last week we heard about Heather Andrews's painful experience in 1997; this week, we see the difference support can make with her daughter Kiara Williamson’s experience in 2017. The juxtaposition between these two stories highlights the importance of nonjudgmental support, the danger of cultural shame, the power of communication, and the importance of tapping into your own personal power.

Now, Kiara is expanding that circle of support with her group.

She shares how resilience is a choice to be the victor, not the victim. Listen to her ‘Relentlessly Resilient’ podcast this week, then tune into an overlapping story the following week featuring her daughter Kiara’s story.
