To be clear, these are Dover Evergreen Classics. So, they are unabridged and cheap. Honestly, most of these I would prefer to buy as beautiful hardback editions because they're excellent books. The book was better. No matter which book, no matter which movie.
BUT, Dusney's live action Cinderella is really, truly excellent. Visually stunning, strong themes of forgiveness and courage and longsuffering. Good clean fun for the whole family! (Yes, my son throws a fit every time, but always stays to watch anyway 😉)

Yesterday, my family was out visiting our new friends at at Lion & Lamb Homestead, and my kids came across their compost area. My son freaked out a bit at first and asked if it was the "death pile." The farmer laughed and replied that no, she thinks of it as the "life pile," because God has designed the creation in such a way to use the dead and gone to help bring forth new life.
What a great picture of the resurrection at Easter time! God does indeed bring beauty from ashes. Our new life in Christ is only made possible by his death.
