Dance Collective specializes in stage and festival performances, and one-on-one lessons for youth and adult hip-hop, creative movement and vogue. The mission of TCDC is to elevate youth performing arts in Pittsburgh, bringing the youth perspective to the forefront. Through collaborative efforts, TCDC creates arresting, thought-provoking performances, and teaches youth that every voice counts.

"Kelly Strayhorn Theater was the first place Trevor C. Dance Collective performed, in 2014.

When we touched the stage for Halloween Mayhem that year, with just 6 dancers, I remember being so nervous yet excited, because I knew we were bringing some fresh magic into the world.

Every year, KST supported our vision as we grew in size, became more dramatic, and told louder stories. We were able to make our mark in Pittsburgh, thanks to this theater.

COVID tried to keep us all down, but I rounded up a few of the dancers (old and new) to create a virtual video for last year's Mayhem. We are elated to stream it again for you this year, this time in the theater!!!"
