NEP Group is incredibly proud of its longtime support of the PGA TOUR and its rightsholders and partners, as they deliver amazing golf coverage and content to fans and audiences around the world.

On Tuesday at NAB Show, NEP Group shared the stage with the PGA TOUR at the Sports Summit for a discussion on the “Future of Live Sports Production”.

Michael Werteen joined Michael Raimondo to share many examples of their work together, including the new innovative PGA TOUR Studios, the TOUR’s fleet of IP mobile units, and many other solutions and technologies including how NEP’s TFC broadcast platform orchestrates it all seamlessly.

The wide-arranging conversation, moderated by Jim Ocon, also featured Sasha Zivanovic, CEO of NEXTOLOGIES, and included a discussion on the different needs of productions from each tier, and the learnings that can be gained from each one.

Today at the Broadcast Engineering & IT Conference, NEP Group's Dan Murphy and John Guntenaar presented the paper "The Liability of Elasticity", calling for a new cybersecurity approach in the media services industry.

The paper aims to provide a blueprint for broadcasters and media companies navigating the challenges and opportunities of elastic cloud environments.

From the Costa Rican fires to the relentless rainy season to encounters with uncommon wildlife, we collaborated brilliantly with the team from Workerbee to constantly adapt and innovate, and this was critical to the overall success of the production. -Tim Deacon, Technical Project Manager for NEP.

With over 30 engineers and technical experts from NEP onsite, we supported the capture of over 430 hours of coverage across multiple remote locations, ensuring a seamless operation throughout the nine-week production.
