The phases of yesterday's solar eclipse are shown in this composite photo as the sun and moon passed over the Church of the Most Holy Trinity in Trinity, IN.
Leading up to the big day yesterday I knew I wanted to get a wide angle shot of the eclipse. The tricky part was finding a subject for the foreground. Once I knew Indiana would most likely be the best place to go I went on Google Maps and looked for places that could be interesting. I felt like I drove about 500 miles on Google Maps Street View alone just looking for a place. I found this incredible church and put it at the very top of the list of potential places to shoot the eclipse from. I am absolutely thrilled with how this shot turned out!
