Hey there everybody. I will no longer be using social apps on my phone outside of LinkedIn. I stayed off of Facebook for 24 hours other than to make this post and the difference in how I feel is night and day. Surface Wave Media LLC will still be providing non commercial video and photo production (weddings, music videos, senior pics and family portraits) and I will be grinding with DJ at Red Wolf Media as the new Director of Media Production where we will be covering all commercial applications for photo and video production. If you need me and don’t have my number then I will still have Facebook messenger and I am easily reached on LinkedIn. I’ll log in on desktop to post my work every now and again but my focus is going to be on my career and my family. Much love to you all. ❤️

Haven’t posted since the end of October because frankly the beginning of November was a rough time.

At the beginning of November I learned that a friend and client of mine had been killed here in Shreveport. Since then, my perspective has changed dramatically about many things.

Life is filled with loss. However, in the wake of all of the loss that I’ve experienced in my life (which has been quite a lot unfortunately); I’ve realized that I had to have first loved these individuals to feel this kind of pain.

While my aim isn’t to press my beliefs on you all, one thing that Christ said which has stuck with me lately is ,”Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

The sentence which ends this quote, “there is no commandment greater than these” is equally profound to me as what precedes it.

Loving others so much can hurt, but no matter what happens I know that love is what got me here. Without a love for my craft I don’t pursue it. And if I weren’t doing what I was doing now then I would truly be miserable.

So as 2024 begins, I aim to lead with love and allow my passion for video production to continue to improve the lives of others as it will simultaneously improve my own life and business.

To all of you who have worked with me, supported me and believed in me I am ever grateful for you. I am truly excited for what the future has in store.

Stan Wallace at Magee Resource Group, LLC is a prime example of why you should always do your best to stay in contact with past clients and provide great service. Not only did I get to create a video for Stan’s company, but also I am getting to film his daughter’s wedding in March of 24! I am grateful for all of my past and current clients and all they do for me.

Business promos are something that I am very familiar with. But, my videos for the sake of promotion are not run of the mill by any means. I take the time to converse with staff and try to capture the overall vibe of the place that I am shooting. At the end of the day, a company profile video is your pitch to the public. With my expertise, your business will stand out in the public eye.
