We’ve got mic preamps that add character and some that are perfectly transparent—all to complement our mics and capture your instrument just as you want. Want punchy drums? Our APIs are perfect for that. Want warm and vintage sounding acoustic guitars? Our Neve style BAE 1084s are our go to. Big and thick electrics? Our 1073s or Chandler Germaniums are just the ticket. Want to beef up a thin vocal? Our hand-wired Locomotive 286 will amaze you. Beyond our 20 outboard pres, the 24 console preamps have their own character that sound great on everything.
