We are going to have another fantastic day today. It will be mostly sunny with high temperatures warming up into the upper 70s. The wind will pick up out of the south today at 10-15mph and gust around 25mph. This will lead to a sunny/breezy day today. The weather will be similar tomorrow as it again with be sunny and breezy out of the south with gusts again around 25mph. Temperatures though tomorrow are going to warm up into the low to mid 80s. So, if you miss and like the heat than tomorrow is your day before a cool down for the weekend. A cold front will move towards us overnight tomorrow night and cross the area Thursday morning. This could lead to some scattered showers/storms Thursday morning. A lot of the activity does look like it will stay further north. I think most of us here in southern Minnesota will just see some isolated showers/storms Thursday morning. One or two of these could be on the stronger side. Behind the cold front we are going to have a fall like weekend. Highs will be in the 60s with lows overnight in the 40s for Friday and Saturday. Days will be mostly sunny again as well.

Good morning! We woke up with chilly temperatures and most of us in the 40s. However, we are going to warm up into the mid 70s for Labor Day today. It is going to be another beautiful day with a mostly sunny sky and comfortable dew points in the 50s. A perfect day for grilling and outdoor gathering for the holiday. The winds are going to pick up tomorrow and Wednesday out of the south and gust upwards of 25mph for Wednesday. These winds will warm things up Tuesday with highs in the upper 70s and if you are not ready for summer to leave than Wednesday is your day. High temperatures Wednesday warm back up into the low to mid 80s. A cold front will come through late Wednesday into Thursday morning. This could produce some scattered showers and maybe a thunderstorm on Thursday, but right now we are not expecting anything widespread or severe. This cold front though will make it feel more like fall next weekend. Highs Friday and Saturday will be in the 60s with lows in the 40s. Both days will also have a lot of sun with high pressure returning over the area.
