YouTooCanWoo is an artist-owned music and audio production company with a stunning studio space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

We’ve been responsible for the production and mixing of MGMT's debut EP Time to Pretend, creating the sound identity of Spotify, MTV, and NBCUniversal, the original score for AAA video game Just Cause 3, and the Cinema Eye nominated score and sound design for official SXSW Film Festival selection Mateo. We are also the co-founders of the groups French Horn Rebellion, Savoir Adore, Deidre & the Dark, and Violet Sands, with which we have toured extensively around the world. Pooling our years of experience as recording artists, producers, and composers, we’ve partnered with long-time collaborator Robert Perlick-Molinari (who previously founded Ensemble Records, and discovered and released the viral sensation “Sunrise” by Slaptop) to lead a new label division. Our latest doc collab premiered ! directed and produced by takes you on a journey into the extraordinary world of an underground community of women motorcyclists who not only embrace the codes of iconic biker culture but are also revolutionizing it from within. As sound designers, we created an immersive sonic experience that showcases powerful motorcycle engine roars, lashing wind, shifting gears, and outlaw atmospheres that bring the badass boldness of these rebellious women to the forefront. Using sonic juxtaposition to societal cultural norms, we aimed to create an inspiring and wild ride that showcases the importance of finding a community you can truly identify with.

Our in-house creative team is expanding! We're very excited to announce that Austin Mendenhall (guitar virtuoso, accomplished composer/engineer, and wonderful human being) is our newest full-time Creative Director and Lead Artist at YouTooCanWoo.

Austin first started working with us part-time while on break from touring with his band SNOWMINE about 6 years ago. Since then he has contributed to several of our award winning projects such as Segregated by Design (Vimeo’s Best of the Month and Best of the Year nominee), The Guy: The Brian Donahue Story (Short of the Week, SOMA Film Festival’s Best Documentary, many more), CTIA Discover the Wireless Spectrum (Addy Awards’ Winner) and many others.

We're so glad to have him a part of our full-time crew, and look forward to all the incredible work we’ll continue to do together.
