The one thing I was determined to accomplish this week (which I did!), was to make it to the early voting center in my neighborhood. People from all walks of life, each one of us with our own beliefs and hopes, came together to make our voices heard. Being here felt empowering; there’s something special about voting in person, especially in such a vibrant area. Watching so many New Yorkers showing up early to cast their vote was a gratifying reminder of this community's commitment to our democracy 🇺🇸🇺🇸 𝔁𝓸 𝓣𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓪 ❤️

On a bright sunny autumn Saturday like today I just love venturing out and exploring NYC's outdoor flea markets & vintage pop-ups. It's especially enjoyable when the crisp fall weather rolls in. There’s something special about browsing through old treasures and unique decor pieces, all while curating little additions for my home. I’ll usually start with a cozy brunch at a nearby café, savoring the weekend vibes before diving into the market stalls. The energy of the city mixed with the cool autumn air and those one-of-a-kind finds makes it the perfect way to kick off the weekend.

Last weekend I found myself wandering through the quaint cobblestone streets of historic Brooklyn Heights. It’s not exactly a neighborhood where I’d go to source vintage finds, but it was a perfect fall day with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze which made it so enjoyable to be outdoors. The iconic brownstones, tree-lined blocks, and a bustling farmer’s market made for a charming backdrop as I leisurely got to explore the storied alleys and side streets.

As I stood by the window with my cup in hand, I could see the warm hues of fall spreading through the trees—deep oranges, fiery reds, and golden yellows. The morning light filtered softly through the leaves, and with each sip, I felt the promise of a new day unfolding.
