The Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association

The National Music and Entertainment Industry Students Association (MEISA) was formed in 1979 to bring music business students together with educators and leaders of the music and entertainment industry to more successfully and effectively prepare students for future careers. MEISA members have the opportunity to apply their music business education by participating in a variety of activities on b

oth local and regional levels. They vary by chapter; a few chapter activities include student run record labels, campus concerts, music industry tours, local conferences, and more! On the national level, members can participate in the Battle of the Bands, be recognized with the MEISA scholarship or the Outstanding MEISA Chapter Award, or even run for a local, regional, or national executive board positions!
