Sadly, Hanns Wolters passed away in 2000, but he left the agency that bares his name in the capable hands of Oliver Mahrdt who has continued the tradition of representing the finest artists in the entertainment industry. We continue to develop and encourage new work and new talent. Hanns Wolters Agency was founded by Hanns Wolters and his wife Mitzi Bera in 1962 and is celebrating its 47th anniversary. After the passing of the founders, the agency was handed to Oliver Mahrdt. The talent agency specializes in casting of American and Foreign talent and off-beat types for motion pictures, television and commercials, and has a voice-over department attached, specializing in all foreign languages. The Agency also represents writers, producers and directors, as well as corporations. The Agency is bonded and licensed by the City of New York and is franchised by SAG and EQUITY.

From its early beginnings in April 1962 Hanns Wolters International Inc was a proud SAG and AEA Franchised agency in the city of New York. After long deliberations we have decided to move into a different direction: Management, freelance Management to be exact. Going forward we would like to represent film projects as well as artists, produce and finance movies and exhibitions, consult for organizations and companies, and continue to be one of the leading media marketers in today's world. That will also include an exclusive staple of foreign actresses and actors and NYC character artists, as well as Voice Over experts.

Going forward please let us know if you would like to continue to work with us. We will stay with our commission rate at 10% and we look forward to continuing our long lasting relationships with most of you. Should you already have a management company representing you, please cancel your Breakdown Services link to Hanns Wolters International so that we cannot submit you without your authorization. For those of you who are not exclusively signed to a manager we would gladly continue working with you. We would like to THANK YOU for our long relationship and we wish you continued success in your acting careers, with or without us.
