In 1991, Wayne Gretzky and LA Kings owner Bruce McNall purchased a 1909–1911 T206 Honus Wagner for $451,000. 

It’s the first card PSA ever graded, and the only Wagner graded above 5/10. 

They sold it in 1995 to Walmart for $500,000. 

It was most recently purchased by Ken Kendrick, the owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks, for $2.8 million in 2007. 

He has a $100 million card collection.
