I'm the founder and operator of Nashville Demo Works. I've been here in Nashville for almost 10 years. During that time i've been a signed artist, songwriter, producer and publisher. The inspiration for the Nashville Demo Works came to me years ago when I was new to Nashville. It was a bit intimidating to jump into the world of studio work without knowing exactly how it works. If a site like this

had been available to me early in my songwriting career, it would have helped me a ton. But now after years in the studio, I know my way around a little better. I moved to Nashville with my brother and sister (Mike and Leslie) in 2005 as a trio called The Harters. We were signed to a label called Bigger Picture and had the chance to record our album with legendary producer Keith Stegall. We spent the next four years touring, opening for major country acts like Alan Jackson, Josh Turner and many others. I've since recorded a solo project but mostly i've been producing records and have found that is my real passion. I've learned there is no "one way" to approach recording records or demos, only getting great "sounds" and expressing each writer or artist's individual style.
