Hurricane Relief Workers Needed – Urgently Hiring!

World Class Concrete & More
Locations: East Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina
Pay Rate: $30/hour
Hours: 12+ hour workdays (Must be able to work weekends)
*Project Duration: Anticipated length of project may be up to 2 years.

**Job Description:**

World Class Concrete & More is urgently hiring hardworking individuals to assist with disaster relief efforts in the aftermath of the recent hurricanes. This is a great opportunity to help communities rebuild and recover from the devastation.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in clean-up and rebuilding efforts in affected areas: East TN/NC/FL
- Perform general labor tasks related to concrete and clean-up work
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Must be able to work in outdoor elements, adapt to changing scenarios and weather conditions, work in disaster areas and demolition sites
- Potential operation of machinery and power tools (skid steer a plus, but not required)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Requirements:**
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Willingness to work long hours in challenging and unpredictable conditions
- Must be a hard worker, team player, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Ability to start immediately
- Men and women are encouraged to apply

**Benefits:**
- $30/hour pay rate
- 12+ hour workdays with potential to earn overtime
- Shared housing provided (sorry, no pets)
- Two meals provided daily
- On the job training, career and professional development
- Protective gear provided
- Ground transportation provided to and from worksites
- Weekly pay / with potential to earn over-time

The City of Brownsville will host the first annual Family Wealth Summit (FWS) on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. at Haywood High School, located 1175 E. College Street, Brownsville, TN. Keynote speakers for this year’s event include Orion Jean, Time Magazine 2021 Kid of the Year and published author, Julien and Kristen Saunders, podcast hosts of Rich & Regular, Delisa and Elde Guerrier, owners of Guerrier Development and founder of Storyville Amusement Park (Nashville, TN) and EJ Reed, co-owner of the national brand Slim & Husky’s Pizza, hip-hop legend Chubb Rock and a host of entrepreneurs, influencers and business experts. Today you turn 21 years old and yet I can still remember the feeling and everything about that day when I got to take you home after leaving the hospital. Your dad and I had your nursery set up. The color was honeydew green filled with all different types of teddy bears that I had collected. I can still remember how my heart was filled with joy and love. I can still hear my mother saying how she finally had a granddaughter. Your head was covered with soft black swirls of curls and your skin with a deep chocolate.... You smiled all the time even when you were sleeping. As I continue to watch you grow up into this beautiful and smart young woman, my heart overflows with pride. I am so incredibly grateful that God decided to give me the gift of motherhood. You are absolutely amazing... a much better version of me. I pray you continue to keep God first in your life and trust Him with your dreams and desires. Happy birthday my sweetheart, you will always be my cup of hot chocolate.
