We are always happy to provide a backup system for the Watermelon Festival in case of inclement weather. In this year's case, the system did not have to be used thanks to the beautiful weather we experienced all weekend, which is always a good thing! This year, the indoor system consisted of 4 RCF TTL6-A over 2 SUB-9006AS controlled by our X32 Rack to save as many seats as possible. Our Avolites Quartz was prepared to control our 4 9R beam fixtures equipped with rainbow prism effects. Our backline consisted of a Yamaha Bebop kit, a Fender Deluxe Reverb Tonemaster, and a Fender Rumble, with our Korg Triton Studio on standby.

Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce for ensuring the Watermelon Festival will go on rain or shine!

All lighting was designed and operated by an Avolites Arena. We used Resoume Arena in tandem with Avolites Titan to provide content on the video wall. We also provided backline including a DW Custom Kit, a Fender Deluxe Reverb, and a Fender Rumble.

Last week we were able to install nearly 1.5 tons of 4’x4’x2” acoustical panels at Florence Middle School’s Gym. The gym was extremely reverberant with a very high RT60 time and many reflective properties. After treatment we more than halved the reverb time. Phase two of aerial treatment is planned out, but we are hoping this huge improvement will be enough to not have to proceed with it.

Here is a link to a short video with before and after results.

In the midst of Handy Week we are back at it setting up a projection system this week over at Grace Life Church of the Shoals with a unique setup as the throw distance was nearly 100 ft. away onto a 150” screen. To overcome this hurdle, we were able to incorporate our ultra long throw lens with a significant amount of lens shift and 3D keystone correction in our Christie LX801i projector.

We were happy to help out Grace Life and we always appreciate them involving us!

It was a great night to be a part of another Central High School graduation. Due to risk of rain, the proceedings were moved inside their gym. Yesterday, we were happy to be a part of Arab High School's Class of 2024 graduation ceremony at Arab Knights Stadium. To cover both the away and home sides, we employed 12 RCF HDL26-A and 2 RCF HDL6-A for center fills all controlled via our Midas M32r and run off of our quiet generators. We also utilized our specialized Shure ULXD system to battle the wind noise. This system did not disappoint. The stacks covered the stadium seating very well with a small footprint so family and friends could see their loved ones cross the first big hurdle we all face that is graduating high school.

Thanks to Sound Source Productions and Arab High School for letting us be a part.
