A few months ago, I took a leap of faith and started my own YouTube channel, '45Y Music,' to explore my passion for virtual instruments and composition techniques. It's been an incredible journey, and I want to thank each one of you for your support and encouragement along the way.

During my break to plan 'Season 2' of my channel, I received a message from the fantastic team at The Sampleist a renowned YouTube channel that embraces innovation and offers fresh perspectives on virtual instruments, composing techniques, and in-depth reviews of the latest musical tools in the digital realm.

I'm absolutely delighted to announce that I, Chester, will be joining forces with The Sampleist as their newest reviewer! Working alongside this talented team feels like a perfect fit for my passion for music and technology. I'll be dedicating my time to provide you with the most honest and comprehensive reviews of sample libraries and virtual instruments on The Sampleist .

Greetings! Been busy working on some 45Y Music albums. Will be releasing the first single for Stevenia - Objects of Interest next Friday called 'bibi'. It will be available on all streaming platforms and currently available to license now. Will continue releasing Stevenia tracks so if you enjoy bibi, you'll love the rest of the record. Alright back to the Halloween film music that I'm producing this month!

5 lessons I've learned from other artists:
1) beeple - I met Mike a long long time ago when he was making art for some local artists I hung out with. He's now an infamous artist around the world and making history in the digital art world. He taught me to sit down and work. That's what it's about - you can suck, you can make crap, but you sit down and work every day - that's how you grow. Still to this day he's one of my biggest influences with his work ethic.
2) James Patrick - JP has been a music mentor for me for over a decade and he's a great friend too. JP has taught me many things so it's hard to pick one but he's taught me how to let music and sound take over and fill me up as I make it. If you ever watch JP make music - you'll see what I'm talking about. It's a great feeling as you produce.
3) Estate - Dan Kramer is an incredible producer and an awesome human being. Dan has also taught me a ton in both life and as an artist. If it wasn't for Dan I wouldn't have made S*x Burger or have pushed so far into this industry of music licensing.
4) BWN - Tons of lessons came out of my time at this jingle house. From how to work with clients to how to work opportunities in the industry. One of my favorite lessons during my time here is the good ol 'less is more'. You don't need the fanciest gear to get the opportunity because when someone listens to your music on tv or the radio, they don't think about what you were using, they care about the end result and how it sounds. Don't be too hard on yourself and you don't need the fanciest gear to get opportunities.
5) Ysilik - All the guys in this band are at a level that pushes me to be a better musician every day. They've set a high bar musically and technically and it requires that I practice and dedicate myself to get to their level and participate into the creative jams that we make together.
