Supervisor Joseph Saladino & the Town Board invite veterans and active duty military to a Free Appreciation Day Celebration on Friday, May 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Syosset-Woodbury Community Park. This free event, open to Town of Oyster Bay veterans and active duty personnel, includes a free BBQ and entertainment by the singing group American Bombshells. To accommodate as many hometown heroes as possible, veterans and active military personnel are invited to bring one guest only. There is no charge to attend and a rain date is scheduled for Friday, May 24th. To RSVP, please call (516) 797-4121.
