Dear Father God,

Your Word tells me that You have given me Your divine power to live my life as You created me to...

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desire.
​2 Peter 1:3-4

Lord, please help me to escape evil desires and to experience Your precious promises and divine nature.

Please help me to draw strength from You, that I might be full of Your power.

Please help me to grow in knowing You, developing perseverance, doing Your will and loving others.

Thank You for Your very great and precious promises over my life and that you speak "YES" to me each day for my promises in Jesus...

For all the promises of God in Him (Jesus) are Yes, and in Him (Jesus) Amen, to the glory of God through us.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You for being my Peace today.

Thank You for bringing Your peace to my heart and to my mind.

Please forgive me for when I fail to be a peacemaker.

Help me to see things through Your eyes so that I can better understand where others are coming from.

Let me be led by You so that I can handle all situations with Your peace, wisdom and understanding.

Please help me to think before I speak and to pray before I act.

Dear Lord God,

So often I hear what people are going through and I feel sad and sorry for them.

And when I go through tough times, I often become overwhelmed about it.

But when I look at the story Joseph in the Old Testament and the betrayals and trials that he went through; and when I see how You led him through it all, I understand that You also have a plan for me and you can bring good for all that happens in my life. Genesis 37+

If Joseph had not been betrayed and put in that pit by his brothers, and then sold into slavery, and then wrongly accused and then taken to prison, he would not have been in the position to save his family, the children of Israel, and to save the people of Egypt as well as people from around the world.

As Joseph later told his brothers...

But as for you, you meant evil against me;
but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.
Genesis 50:20

Lord, please help me to remember Joseph and his story when I’m in the midst of troubles and trials.

Please help me to trust You with my day and with my future.d

I pray that my life will be a “Joseph life,” accomplishing Your purpose through hard times and good times.

Please do what is necessary to use my life for Your Kingdom glory.

Dear God,

Please search me, know me and lead me...

Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,

Please help me to not be anxious and to put my full trust in You...

Please show me where I have sinned so that I can confess and correct those areas of my life.

Thank you for forgiving me...

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Please give me the wisdom, courage and conviction to repent and to always do what is right in Your sight.

Please lead me in Your way everlasting. Psalms 139:24

Dear Father God,

This is the day that You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24

Throughout this day, please show me all the good that You accomplish around me.

I do not want to focus on anything negative, but on what is from You...

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,

whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy
—meditate on these things.

Please help me to meditate on all of Your blessings today, my Lord.

I pray that today, all that I think, do, and say will be acceptable and pleasing to You...

Let the words of my mouth
and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord ,
my strength and my Redeemer.

Let me encourage others today.

Let me glorify You and be in Your presence at all times.

Please be near to me and guide me throughout this day.

I submit to You, I resist all evil, I want to draw near to you and I humbly ask you to draw near to me, as James writes...

Therefore submit to God.

I ask You for wisdom for all of my conversations, all of my relationships, all of my endeavors, every area of my life...

If any of you lacks wisdom,

I desire to rely completely on You.

Please change my small dreams into Your holy dreams.

May I pursue all that is according to Your plans for my life.

May Your desires for me become my desires.

I want to totally rely on You.

Please increase my faith.

I pray for my family and friends who are sick and who need Your healing touch in their lives, as James instructs...

Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray...
Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up...
James 5:13-15

Please heal them through the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Please draw them to Yourself and let me be Your witness to them.

Please change their lives for their good and for Your glory.

These things I ask with a heart full of gratitude and love.

Dear Father in Heaven,

Today, I am praying for people in this world who do not have earthly fathers.

They may have never known their father, or their father was taken from them, or he may have left them at some point, or a myriad of other scenarios.

We all need to know and to feel Your love as our Heavenly Father.

Thank You that You love us with an unconditional and everlasting love.

You are always there for us, with Your open arms and Your heart of pure love, as Jesus taught us...

Your Father knows the things you have need of
before you ask Him.
In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven...
Matthew 6:8-9

I thank You for all You have done, all You have provided and all You will do for us.

I am Your child.

Thank You for giving me Your unconditional fatherly love.

May I fully receive Your love, and share your vast love with others.

Dear Father God,

Please give me an insatiable desire for spending more time with You in prayer, worship and reading my Bible.

I call to You and I ask you to draw near to me...

The Lord is near to all who call upon Him,
To all who call upon Him in truth.

Open my eyes that I may see myself as You see me, as your beloved child.

Please help me to see and love others from Your viewpoint.

I want You to be the absolute center and guiding light of my life.

I want to find You, I call out to You, I long for You to be near to me...

Seek the Lord while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.
Isaiah 55:6

Please refresh me so that I can walk with You in quiet places, in heavenly places and throughout all the days of of my life into eternity.

Dear Lord,

I am so aware of how the devil picks at me and tries to trip me all the time.

Please help me to...

Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.

I know there are spiritual dangers around me.

Please help me to remain alert and to be under Your Holy Spirit's control at all times.

I want to submit to You, as James wrote in his letter...

Therefore submit to God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.​

Please protect me, my family and my loved ones from harm and evil, as Jesus taught us to pray...

And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.

Dear Father God,

Today I pray as You instruct us in 2 Chronicles 7:14...
..if My people who are called by My name
will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face,
and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

I take time today to reflect on my own life, to confess and repent of my sins, to seek God’s face, asking for Your forgiveness and for the healing of my land.

I am Yours, one of Your people, called by Your name.

I humbly bow before You this day.

I pray to You and I seek Your face.

Lord, open my eyes and make me aware of anything in my life that is sinful, that is a hindrance to Your blessings or a disgrace to Your name.

I turn from my wicked ways.

I repent of my sins.

Please forgive me and heal our land.

Dear Father God,

Today I am thinking about how people try so hard to be independent.

We want to be individuals, to “do it ourselves.”

It starts when we are children.

We are children in Your eyes, no matter what our age...

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit
that we are children of God...
Romans 8:16

I realize that people really do need You and each other.

We need to support one another emotionally and spiritually...and sometimes physically.

We need accountability, and a true friend or loving family.

Please help me to be willing to help and to be helped.

May I be a loving member of the family of God...and a servant in my home, church, workplace, school, ministry and community.

I trust in You my Lord...

It is better to trust in the LORD
Than to put confidence in man.
Psalms 118:8

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You that You have given so much.

I am so thankful for Your love and the salvation that You provide for me...

In this is love, not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent His Son
to be the propitiation for our sins.
1 John 4:10

I am so thankful for all that You have lovingly given to me and to my loved ones.

I desire to give back to You.

I want to follow You, to do Your will, to do what is right and to do what You desire.

Living in a land of plenty, I have become accustomed to "having."

Although I have experienced struggles in my life, my sufferings do not compare to the many who have lost everything and who live from moment to moment not knowing where their provisions will come from…and even those who risk the loss of their lives to poverty or the evil around them.

Father, please bless those who truly suffer.

Please protect Your children and provide for them today and in the days to come.

And please, remind me to lovingly give my all to You and to those in need.

Dear God,

I praise You today for who You are.

I come to You in prayer today for married couples.​

You created marriage, as Jesus taught us...

And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Matthew 19:4-6

You create a Christian covenant marriage when You bring a man and woman together in the sacrament of holy marriage.

I pray for a hedge of protection around married couples.

Please work in their hearts and guide them to love, honor and serve each other.

May their priorities be ordered by You, with You at the center of their marriage.

You are the authority over every Christian marriage.

May every Christian husband and wife guard their marriages and be good stewards of all You have bestowed — and will bestow — upon them.

Strengthen their marriages and give wisdom and guidance to each partner to stay on guard against temptations — the things and people that Satan would throw at them in an effort to destroy their marriages.

Please bless each marriage union.

Work in and through these couples to minister to one another and to others, to encourage the body of Christ and to glorify You.

May we all be godly examples of Your love to others.

My Rock of Spiritual Refreshment, I'm thirsty.

I'm thirsty for Your Living Water of life my Lord Jesus...

Please increase my hunger for You and for Your Word and Your will...

And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life.
He who comes to Me shall never hunger,

Please keep my heart humble and strengthen my commitment to You and Your ways.

I need my heart's desire to be for You.

I want more of You.

Please forgive my sins and strengthen my spirit.

Help me to know Your presence and to experience Your power as never before.

Please shine through me to bless the lost and dying world around me, for their blessing and for Your glory.

Please shower me with Your blessings so that I may share them with others, and be a blessing to You.

Dear Lord God,

There are so many injustices in this world which I am burdened by and which I must place before You...

Increasingly governments make decisions contrary to the instruction of Your Word, The Holy Bible.
People make choices in direct opposition to what You have declared as good and right and true.
Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ are persecuted in many parts of the World.
"Wolves in sheep's clothing" parade as Your servants, when in fact, they are not representing You.
You are the Holy One, righteous and just.

You have the power to save and You have the right to judge.

My Lord God, what do you require of me?

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly, To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8

I invite You to work within me, guiding me by Your Holy Spirit to do Your works that are good, to be Your trustworthy and willing servant, to accomplish Your will in my life and in this world.

Help me to make a difference and to be steadfast and strong for You to the end.

Dear Father God,

Thank You for this new day that I will live with gratitude to You for my Salvation through the loving sacrifice of Jesus.

As I look around, I am in awe of Your creation...

Brilliant blue skies and the clouds that bring rain,
Thunderstorms that send lightning and thunder crashing,
Winds that come to dry up the rain and to cool the earth,
Bumblebees that fly in spite of being too big and heavy for those little wings,
Lightning bugs that flicker at night and send children chasing through the yard,
Frogs and crickets that chirp,
Birds that sing,
Oceans that roar,
Mountains so tall,
The ant that is so busy,
And so much more that amazes me about Your beautiful creation.
Then God saw everything that He had made,
and indeed it was very good.
Genesis 1:31

And I am overwhelmed when I see every baby, child, teen and adult, all of whom You created in Your own image...

So God created man in His own image;
in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them.
Genesis 1:27

Oh God, You are awesome and You are good.

Thank You for happy memories, and even the sad ones, for they have helped to shape me and to increase my trust and dependence on You.
