I decide to work on making it a reality. I started making plans, but it didn’t seem real because I didn’t even have a name. Tiffany and I had been dating for seven months when we had started going through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University and near the end of the nine weeks Dave used the Tortoise and the Hare to illustrate steady hard work and determination leads to achieving your financial and life goals. No matter how many times he read the story, the ending was the same: the tortoise always wins. I had heard this story many times since I was a little kid, but it did not really resonate with me until I heard it used then. One day I was in need of encouragement and Tiffany texted me a bunch of encouraging Bible verses and the phrase "the tortoise always wins.” That was it, I knew we had a name. Winning Tortoise Productions is a constant reminder of the hard work and dedication needed to achieve my goals in life. It is my hope Aesop’s fable will conjure the same need to move forward, even if it is a slow and steady pace. After a decade of working jobs I dislike, I finally decided I should turn my passion into a way to earn a living. So I drew up some plans to achieve this goal, but I could not think of a name.
