Hi! My name’s Elise Woodard and I’m a junior studying film at Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, Florida. Producing and writing are my biggest passions when it comes to filmmaking. Outside of filmmaking, you’ll find me reading and talking about DC comics, playing video games, or watching any kind of sports.

Interning at OHD was great way to make friends, have hands on experiences, and meet industry professionals.

Hi! I’m Enrique Cabotage, and I’m an aspiring cinematographer based out of Columbus, OH. I’m a senior at OSU where I do creative video and photo for the men’s and women’s basketball programs. When I’m not behind a camera, I like thrifting, finding new music, and long walks on the beach.

I’ve met so many amazing people and have gotten hands-on experience that would not have been possible without OHD!

Hi! I’m Claire Jesionowski, a senior at OSU with a major in Moving Image Production and two minors in Film Studies and Studio Art. Some of my other interests include ceramics, painting, embroidery, and spending time with my three amazing kitties. When it comes to film my strengths lie in the Art Department, post production, and animation, but I always love to learn new skills in any area. �
My time at OHD helped me to discover what it is like to work in the film industry and showed me what career paths would work best for my goals. Not only did I learn a ton, I also made some amazing connections and friendships that I will hold on to for years to come!

Hey there, I’m Eli Kaltenecker. Some people call me crazy, but I think I’m pretty Nermal…

But seriously, don’t let my Garf-fit fool you, I’ve got more to me than cool cats and lasagna.

From the looks of it, that picture frame holds two of my biggest interests: history and film. Everything I know and love comes from these two central passions. The picture itself is a promotion for wartime correspondents and the film cameras that captured the front lines during WWII.

Besides that, I love lugging a c-stand or two around whenever need be. Lighting is pretty cool too with the inverse-square law. Cameras are the bees knees, especially when on a Dana Dolly. Oh, boy how much I love Dana Dollies.

What’s up? My name’s Will and I’m a Junior at Ohio University aspiring for a career in sports media! In my spare time I find myself playing Ultimate Frisbee, indulging in oddly niche video essays, and taking a long walk on one of the many Ohio beaches!

My favorite part of OHD has easily been the connections I’ve made! Throughout the internship, I’ve had the wonderful privilege of working with many talented creatives in the Columbus area! Through my connections at OHD, I am confident that I can now kickstart my journey into the production world!

Hi! My name’s Hayden Garrett, and I graduated from Otterbein University in April with a degree in Journalism & Media Communication. I LOVE to edit, and I’m also very interested in writing and cinematography.

There’s a lot to love about interning at OHD, but my favorite parts are the camaraderie between ourselves and the employees and the breadth of equipment we’ve been allowed to experiment with. I’ve gained hands-on experience with so much gear I wouldn’t have had access to otherwise, and I’ve begun to develop a network of similarly-minded young professionals with grand ambitions and lots of skill. It’s given me confidence and hope for my future, and that’s invaluable.

Hey everyone! My name is Clay Kessler, and I'm finishing up my last year at The Ohio State University, majoring in Moving Image Production and Marketing. I aspire to be a Director of Photography. I love how lighting, camera movement, and framing can be used to create an emotional response that furthers the story and connects the audience to characters. One day, I'd love to shoot narrative feature films, but I also enjoy working on corporate projects and documentary work.

Interning at OHD this summer was a blast. I appreciated the opportunity to get out of the classroom and learn through hands-on work. By learning from professionals and using high-end equipment, I feel more confident in my filmmaking capabilities. I am so thankful to have connected with the staff at OHD and the other interns!
