I swear she was happy, I just wasn’t quick enough to snap the picture of her full on cheesing 0.5 seconds prior to this 🙃
Wear your favorite hat day at school today, but make it Finlee style! 🐭
This smartie tartie now attends school 5 days a week! She loves every minute of it. We will be sad for the school year to end in 3 short weeks, but my goodness how our girl has grown in the last 3 months of being there.
She knows all of her colors, is working hard on mastering all of her shapes, and enjoys eating lunch with her peers while there! We ask her what she learned about every day when we pick her up and she starts rambling on & on & on, so excited to tell us 🥹

With how chaotic my pregnancy with Finlee was and how unexpectedly quick she came, the need for some sort of control this time around is intense.
So, I have definitely been “nesting” since like 6-8 weeks and I wish I was joking LOL
My house is either going to be immaculate or empty by the time baby brother gets here 😂
My sweet girls have caught on for sure and started to help so much too! Picking up their toys and putting their laundry into the bins. It’s the little things 💜

Wakes up in the mood for everything but a picture 🤣
Finlee has completely fallen in love with going to school. I tend to keep my fears and worries to myself so that I don’t project them into the real world, but now I can admit that this was a worry of mine.
If you know my girls, you know they are momma’s girls through and through. I swear they would permanently reattach themselves to me if possible 🙃
Maylee does not separate well, she’s never had to. We started her in gymnastics last year and have seen so much more independence.
Finlee starting school was her entryway to a bit of freedom away from mom. She has done absolutely incredible, each day more excited to go than the one before! She doesn’t want her tube feds while there, but instead sits down and has lunch with the other kids 🥹 We haven’t mastered nap time while there quite yet, but slow and steady steps can win a race!
We’ve decided that before baby brother gets here, we would like Maylee to be sleeping in her own bed and Finlee to be potty trained… 14 weeks, at max 😬 We are 5 days in to May sleeping on her own and as of this morning, she has made it to 6AM in her own room two nights in a row!!!!
Now Finlee, what tips and tricks do you have for potty training when they know it’s time to go #2 on the potty, but not #1? We did the naked method with May, but she was home with us 24/7 so that was an option. Finlee is in school Monday-Friday from 8AM-12PM so I’m unsure how to effectively approach it this go around…. Any help is highly appreciated! 😬

Until we get our next set of maternity pictures done, I’ll probably just reshare these over and over because I love them that much 🫣
Today went phenomenally well! It was a great day for both Fin & I 🥰
The anatomy scan on baby brother was everything we hoped it would be… He is growing like a w**d and 110% a boy! 🥹 Every single measurement from the top of his head to the tip of his little toes is right on que, already weighing a whole pound and a few ounces! He’s doing so well in there that my 36 week scheduled delivery date has been canceled!!! We’re just going to take it week by week, continuing to let him do his thing 👏🏼
Finlee’s yearly craniofacial appointment was super helpful and full of information ☺️ We’re being patched in with a private speech team that is going to help us aggressively move forward with an assistive communication device! While we can understand Fin, strangers can’t always so having that as she navigates the educational world would be so nice. We’re also being referred to feeding therapy. Finlee wants to eat just by mouth so fiercely, but her chew and swallow needs some professional work to get her to that point. All good things that I definitely look forward to for our girl! 🥰
