What is a funnel? It's what 'old-school' marketers called a sales pipeline or occasionally it's called a customer journey. It's the path that your customer takes from becoming aware of you to becoming familiar with you to becoming a client and then doing repeat business. How many times have you been attracted by some type of bait such as a free webinar, free e-book, 5 day challenge and so forth? What happens from that point on is a funnel. I find that online marketers have really mastered this but for local businesses the path isn't so clear. They pay for advertising driving customers who are in the market that moment for their goods and services and if not, they will pay again next month to try again.
