In recent weeks, questions about lockdowns, shutdowns, and closures are surfacing again as we grapple with a new variant of COVID-19. Forbes magazine has given us a history lesson on the impact of advertising during a crisis. The evidence is clear: businesses that continue to advertise during a crisis grow.

With talk of a possible economic slowdown, numerous case studies have pointed out that marketers should not cutback on their advertising. Those advertisers that maintain their "share of voice" or change their ad message to emphasize value, often end up with a higher "share of market".

Happy International Women’s Day! Our DJ on Mountain Country 107.5 and KECH 95.3!

Dorinda "Dori" Donoho is an award-winning radio personality, logging 24 years and counting. Her awards include Oregon Association of Broadcasters 2008 Best Morning Show, and four OAB awards for Best Locally Produced Program with the Homegrown Music Showcase which featured 3,000 Oregon Artists in its 15-year run. The best part of radio for Dori is working as community liaison to local nonprofits, she was awarded the prestigious American Cancer Society’s Excellence in Media award for her campaign for The Relay For Life which raised over $500,000 dollars. Radio is her first love and writing is her down-time passion. Amazon recently published "Henderson Story & Songs" the first in a series of music/book combinations, a labor of love with her daughter, singer/songwriter, LC Jones. Dori has been married to her best friend and fellow award-winning radio personality Doug Donoho for the last 30 years. The couple have three children, nine grandchildren, and one super spoiled dog named Sallie Mae Junebug Fae, they live and work in gorgeous Sun Valley Idaho.
