This is a picture of my Grandpa, Roland Mays. He’s the reason I have such a love for cars. These are two of the only old pictures I was able to find of him online. He was one of the original members of the Gophers Car Club Los Angeles (I believe he was the treasurer if I remember correctly). Growing up we’d go to El Mirage at least once a year to watch the cars and motorcycles race for top speed.
