HOW TO MAKE A PINHOLE PROJECTOR TO VIEW THE ECLIPSE:
What you’ll need:
- a shoebox or cardboard box
- a box cutter
- tinfoil
- a piece of white paper
- a pin
- tape
How to assemble:
1. Cut a rectangular hole in one side of the box
2. Tape a piece of tinfoil over that hole
3. Make a tiny hole in the tinfoil with the pin
4. Cut another hole on next to the first one, big enough to look through with one eye
5. Tape the piece of paper to the opposite side from the holes you’ve cut, inside of the shoebox.
Use the viewer by putting your back to the sun and angling the box so the sun shines through the hole in the tinfoil, creating a projection on the white paper.
