If only #psi would quit playing and submit my freaking affidavit so I can go ahead and register already. Geez it’s been almost a month since I graduated and paid for my licensure registration fee. Shoot at this point I feel like #genuwine cuz I’m soooo anxious 🎶🎶🎶🤣
This is the bad part of my life-saving Pheresis exchange treatments:
It’s the pain I’m in the next day like today. It’s the fact there’s a National blood shortage cuz ppl just don’t donate anymore I guess, idk; but as someone who needs your donations in order to survive and not succumb to a THIRD STROKE. I, and many others living with blood illnesses disorders, we NEED you guys! We CANNOT SURVIVE without your blood donations. Due to this National blood shortage they now have to dilute the blood products in an effort to stretch the products for ALL who need them. I, myself get 7 units of red blood cells every three weeks . That’s my life for the last 24 years. I’m not too knowledgeable about the process of dilution but as the recipient of the diluted blood, it’s definitely altered how I feel afterwards. It used to revive and restore my energy levels due to severe fatigue from Sickle Cell anemia . In the last however many years now since the blood shortage became an issue I DO NOT feel the same as I used to after my blood exchanges. I currently feel severely drained and exhausted. I’m in pain and there’s nothing I can do about it. My pain meds don’t help it. I just have to wait for this to end. I’m praying that the world will get back to a point where ppl donate blood more frequently as they used to do in previous years. You’re a HERO to so many ppl who need you in order to survive. My own immediate family can’t donate cuz we ALL carry the sickle cell gene. I have the disease and they have the trait. My girls, my nieces, nephews , sisters, and my dad; they all have the trait. So I can only rely on the kindness of strangers to turn this around. We NEED YOU! WE NEED YOU! We need your kindness , we need your greatness , we desperately need your inner HERO! Graduation day was such a blessing . I spent the entire day with my girls; and I haven’t had an opportunity to do that in a long time. I love my time with those girls. There’s nothing like it in this world .
These are my final days of manicurist school n I plan to enjoy every single one to the fullest. I’m so proud of myself. My health caused a 4 month course to turn into an almost 2 year journey; but thanks to God I hung in there n kept pushing through no matter what the Devil threw at me n now I’m only 36.5 hours away from my graduation and then the real work begins. The state board exams is in my sights as my next goal n I cannot wait to get in there n crush those tests. Stay tuned you guys

Y’all know I love a good nail hack n this one is for your stainless steel nail tools n implements. Use your wire drill dit to scrub the rust away. Figured it out by getting some rust out of a skillet or something with a Brillo pad n thought omg that’s what that wire brush is for. You can even use those lil wire brush bowls for same result.
