10AM Debby Update: With the most recent update from the NHC, Debby is a little stronger than earlier this morning. Another landfall is likely today along the SC coastline. Dangerous flooding is still possible across the Carolina coastlines.
Tropical Storm Debby now near the Florida/Georgia border. This system will intensify once it moves into the Atlantic before making a second landfall in the Carolinas.
5am: Hurricane DEBBY is making landfall in Florida's big bend area as a CAT 1 storm. The main impacts will continue to be flooding rainfall in central & northern Florida...southern Georgia and South Carolina. Storm will slowly weaken later but still remain as a tropical storm...
TS Debby is a little stronger as of 10 am, with Tampa already feeling the early impacts of the storm. Further strengthening is still expected before landfall tomorrow morning. After landfall, "Debby" will likely slow down considerably, with significant flooding expected across the SE U.S.
4AM Tropical Storm "Debby" Update- Currently strengthening in the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. Now expected to become a category 1 hurricane before making landfall sometime tomorrow morning in the Florida Big Bend region.
"Four" Update: Likely strengthening into Tropical Storm Debby late tonight/early tomorrow AM after spending time in the warm, Gulf waters. Landfall is looking more likely along Florida's Big Bend region sometime early Monday.
9am- Only a few lingering showers remain on radar this morning, shifting south with the front. Sunshine is back, especially for areas north of I-20.
6am- Showers/rumbles continue to weaken and head SE. Main threats are still brief, heavy downpours and lightning. Gusty winds are still possible, between 30-40 mph. Showers should linger over the next few hours before clearing out.
5:30am- Early morning storms are continuing to weaken but could still produce gusty winds and heavy rain as they drift SE.
4:55am- Storms are currently sub-severe but are still packing a punch! Winds between 40-50 mph will be possible as well as torrential rain and lightning. Movement is SE.

Looking likely we'll see DEBBY develop in the eastern Gulf this weekend. Still getting organized over land (Cuba) but once it gets over water we should see a tropical system form. Biggest concern is heavy rain, and flash flooding risk for Floria as of now...
Thursday PM: Our disturbance near the DR is slowly getting better organized and now has a decent chance to become a tropical weather system this weekend as it heads to the Florida straits or the eastern Gulf of Mexico. It could bring flooding rain to parts of Florida. ATM, no impacts to Texas are anticipated.

An ALERT California tower cam caught this "firenado" spawned by the intense heat from the Park Fire in Chico, CA. That fire has burned over 124,000 acres and forced 4,000 people to evacuate.
