October 1999-May 2012 Engine Music Studios opened in 1999 and is located in Chicago's convenient and popular Bucktown neighborhood.

We offer a pair of Vintage studios that house a Sphere Eclipse C in our A studio and a Trident 80B in a our B room, we have a wide selection of Vintage outboard gear, tape machines, and guitar amplifiers, not to mention one of the best Microphone collections in the Midwest. With decades of personal experience behind us, Engine has a 12 year history of working with some of the brightest and best artists of our day. Engine is owned and operated by Jep Thornton, John Humphrey and Brian Deck.
