Hello friends,
We at CRC wanted to share our evolution in the world of audio recording. Since its inception in 1975, CRC has always had two equal sides of music and post production audio services. Due to seismic changes in the music industry, we have decided to close our music division. But rest assured, our Post Production Audio division is thriving, and our team will continue to create award winning work out of our world class studios at 55 W. Wacker and 205 N. Michigan Ave. We thank all of our many clients and friends over the years who have recorded music with us. What a wonderful ride since 1975! Onward and upward!

WTTW has partnered with two other Chicago natives – musician, actor, artist, producer and activist Common and Ad Agency Two by Four.

Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2 - Season 2 dropped today, and we had the honor of working with Activision Blizzard on the project. CRC Senior Engineers Mark Wilkening & Ian Scott recorded Chicago Med's Brian Tee, ably assisted by Connor Boyle, Jordan A. McCarroll, Aidan S Cramer, and Joshua Arizmendi. Congrats to everyone who worked on this release - the fastest selling game in franchise history!

Today's release on the BBC's Outlook is a project that we were proud to be involved in - an interview with Emmett Till's cousin, Reverend Wheeler Parker, who was witness to the events that led to the shocking abduction and murder of Emmett Till.

We are mourning the loss of jazz giant Ramsey Lewis.

CRC was very fortunate to have recorded numerous albums with Ramsey and his band.

Our condolences to the entire Lewis family. We will miss him greatly.

We were very sad to hear the news last week about the passing of one of the legends of the jazz world - Joey DeFrancesco.
His talent on the Hammond B3 (along with sax & trumpet) was truly amazing. We had the good forture of recording Joey last month in CRC's Studio 5. Here's a pic from the session with one of CRC's top engineers Dennis Tousana and the great jazz drummer Louis Nash.
