InPathways: Free Spirit Media's Creative Workforce Portfolio ’s creative industry workforce development pipeline that helps 18 - 25 y/o emerging creatives develop careers in media, film and TV.

The Chicago Track is an educational and experiential bridge program into the creative industries of film and music, hosted by Young Chicago Authors, Free Spirit Media, and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Through workshops and events, the Chicago Track exposes participants, ages 18 – 25, to industry leaders in creative fields, the history of music and film in Chicago,

and the skills and strategies to prepare for employment. Participants get a behind-the-scenes look at these two growing industries in order to walk away with a broader understanding of the kinds of jobs available within them. Participants receive mentoring, skill development, and hands on support as they create the tools to promote themselves as artists, engineers, or producers.
