Hello Facebook Family,

This weekend, I was asked to co-produce an event hosted via partnership between the Universal Hip Hop Museum (UHHM) and Chase Bank.

It was amazing!

While there, I met some pretty incredible people and got a chance to shoot them: Kid Capri (DJ), LaRoyce Hawkins (Chicago PD), Val Warner (ABC7 Chicago) and so many more.

UHHM is doing big things and impacting communities, and I’m glad to be a part of it.

It was an incredible honor to have been invited to Rome as a film festival nominee and then to actually receive an award…icing on the cake!

Next up we are off to the Essence Film Fest this summer and Costa Rica in January.

Dr . Khalid is a true cultural curator we at Reel Sung truly appreciate him allowing us the honor of capturing his work and story through our lens.
