MY STEPMOM SECRETLY CANCELED MY PROM HAIR APPOINTMENT TO RUIN MY DAY — BUT HER JAW DROPPED WHEN A LIMOUSINE SHOWED UP FOR ME.
So, I'm 17 and a senior, living with my dad, my stepmom Carla, and her son, Mason. Carla, can't stand me. It all started when I was 10 after my mom passed, and she married my dad. She once said I looked "too much" like my mom and has hated me ever since.
Anyway, prom. I've been planning this night for ages. I saved up for a violet dress (my mom's favorite color) and booked a salon appointment to get my hair done.
On the big day, I head to the salon... only to be told my appointment was canceled. I'm like, what?! And then I see her — Carla, sitting in the chair, getting her hair done, with this evil smirk. I knew she did it to ruin my night.
I go home, tears in my eyes, trying to fix my frizzy hair myself. But then, I hear honking outside. I ignore it at first, but it keeps going. I look out, and there's a freakin' limo parked in front of my house.
I rush downstairs, and the driver hands my dad a card. "I'm here to pick up Miss Emily for prom," he says. WHAT?! My jaw hit the floor.
I stood there, completely frozen. My dad looked just as confused as I was, and then he handed me the card with the dumbfounding note. ⬇️

MY HUSBAND CREATED A NEW SCHEDULE FOR ME TO 'BECOME A BETTER WIFE' — I TAUGHT HIM A GOOD LESSON IN RESPONSE
So, Jake and I had a pretty solid marriage for the first few years—until he started hanging out with this guy from work, Steve. Steve was this loudmouth from Jake's work, with no girlfriend, no wife, but he somehow knew everything about marriage. And Jake? He started listening. Suddenly, he's coming home with all these "tips" Steve gave him.
Then one day, Jake walks in with this stack of papers, grinning like he just cracked the code to life. He hands it to me, I look down and see the title: "Lisa's Weekly Routine for Becoming a Better Wife." My jaw just about hit the floor. Jake had actually gone ahead and written down a whole schedule for me, based on Steve’s "brilliant" ideas.
The list was INSANE. I'm supposed to wake up at 5 AM every day, make Jake breakfast, then head to the gym to "stay in shape." After that, I'm supposed to clean the house, do laundry, cook dinner, and make snacks for him and his friends when they come over. I was beyond mad, but I didn't let it show. Instead, I smiled and said, "Sure, babe, I'll get right on it."
Little did he know, I was already plotting my payback. The next day, when Jake came home from work, there was a new ⬇️

MY MIL MISTREATED MY SON FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE WHEN I WASN'T AROUND—WHEN I FOUND OUT, I TAUGHT HER A PROPER LESSON
I've got two sons—one's 12, from my previous marriage while the other's 6 from my current one. My older son's dad passed away, and four years later, I married my now-husband.
So, the other day, I decided to drop by my MIL's house (my current husband's mom) unannounced to bring some food, and toys, and spend a little time with my boys, who were staying there for summer break.
I walked in without knocking, thinking I'd surprise them, but what I heard froze me in my tracks. "PETER! I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THE ROOM AND NOT COME OUT, YOU UNDERSTAND, YOU LITTLE BASTARD? YOU'RE PUNISHED, AND YOU'LL BE IN THAT ROOM ALONE UNTIL NIGHTFALL!"
"Grandma, please, I'm sorry!" I heard Peter cry.
"I'M NOT YOUR GRANDMA AND NEVER CALL ME THAT AGAIN!" she screamed.
I was stunned and furious. This woman always smiled at me like butter wouldn't melt when I saw her.
I had an idea in my head, how to take revenge for my son and teach this woman a lesson once and for all! Without a second thought, I reached into my bag for ⬇️

Two years after Amy and Max's funeral, Chester's girlfriend Cynthia showed him plane tickets for a holiday in another city.
“You know my wife and son died in that city,” he told Cynthia. "I don't have the guts to go there."

When the therapist asks what the problem is, the wife launches into a long rant, listing every issue they’ve ever had over the years.
She goes on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable—an entire laundry list of unmet needs she’s endured.

MY CHILDREN ARE ALWAYS SICK AFTER VISITING THEIR GRANDMA – MY ANGER KNEW NO BOUNDS WHEN I FOUND OUT WHY.
EVERY TIME we sent our kids to my mother-in-law's place, they came back sick. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Runny noses, colds, bronchitis — it became the norm after a trip to grandma's, even though they hardly ever got sick otherwise.
This time, we sent them over for a break again. I dropped them off and headed back to town. But halfway there, I realized I forgot to give them a bag with their stuff that was still in the car. So, I had to drive an hour back to my mother-in-law's house.
I parked and went inside, but what I saw FREAKED ME OUT! At that moment, I understood why my kids always got sick while staying with their grandma.
I saw my mother-in-law standing over my sons, WHO WERE LYING DOWN, and ⬇️

I WAS LAUGHING WITH MY PARENTS AT MY WEDDING, BUT MINUTES LATER, I KICKED THEM OUT AFTER MY BRIDESMAID EXPOSED THE TRUTH.
My parents have been there for me my whole life; they supported my studies, even when I changed professions.
They really liked my boyfriend of 5 years, despite him always running from responsibility. Still, they were happy when he finally proposed to me and even paid for our wedding.
