December 11, 2024 - A Special Book Signing party at the Jazz Showcase for the new book "The Jazz Omnibus: 21-st Century Photos and Writings" by Members of the Jazz Journalists Association. The 600-page anthology of articles and images spanning the jazz world by a cadre of international experts will be featured from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Jazz Showcase, 806 S. Plymouth Court, in Chicago. The night will feature readings by the Chicago contributors to the book and pianist Deanna Witkowski author of Mary Lou WIlliams: Music for the Soul (excerpted in the Omnibus).
