Last year I created my production company's instagram account and had about 15 close friends following it.

It grew to 500+ people over 2021, so I wanted to take a moment to let new followers get to know a bit about me!

PAID GIG:
We're shooting a simple short film through my production company OHH MAYBE, and wanted to put a notice out for location and crew positions to be filled.

Shoot dates: Nov. 17, 18, and 19 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) in Chicago, IL

Depending on locations, may only shoot one-two days. But ideally available for all three of those dates.

Crew Positions:
-Cinematographer: $20 - $50/hr, and potential kit fee (we do have Sony a7ii to shoot on and economy level LED lights)
If you have a first AC you like working with, feel free to loop in
-Production sound mixer & boom op: $20-$40/hr and kit fee
-Production assistant: $16-$20/hr

If interested send us reels/website/portfolio/resume and confirm date availability. Proof of vaccination required.

Short film details:

The Dishwasher Monologues
A series of comedic monologues about doing dishes.
4-5 page script. 1-3 Locations. Shooting days under 8 hours.

I know I feel shy when it comes to putting my projects out there, so if you have a short film that you'd like to get highlighted on Fridays send it over so I can do it for ya!

Think of all the hard work you put into making your short film, it can be exhausting, so tiring that last thing you wanna think about is social media. So hopefully sending a link now will be a simple reminder!

I love seeing the work in our community and giving your film another chance to be seen and connect with our peers. And I think it's good practice to get comfortable with the habit of sending stuff out!
